    SA H&R 50mm Lowered Springs for Mk5

    Having recently bought and installed some new H&R Ultralow colilovers I have for sale my old H&R Lowered springs model 29260. They are the lower 50mm drop versions rather than the subtle 30mm versions. To be honest this depends on which car you are going to fit it on and what weight it is - with these installed in my car which has a heavy diesel I only measured a 35mm drop at the front and 15mm at the rear. Of course mine stock was already 15mm lower than standard since its a GT so you may well get a 50mm drop on standard models. Check out my thread to see some before and after photos -

    Any if anyone is interested I also have the stock GT suspension too, can sell together with the springs.

    FYI: I would buy these off you today, but in the thread you've listed for before and after shot, you indicate you've purchased these springs second hand for a quarter of the price brand new. Even if we assume you paid $600 for these springs, it means you only paid $150 for them. Therefore the springs are actually 3rd hand now, and you're asking $100 more than what you paid. Please explain?

        That was quite a while ago and prices have risen since but regardless just because I picked them up for a bargain back then doesn't mean I'm obliged to sell them for less than what I paid. My asking price was only a starting point and I'm happy to negotiate. Explained?

          RetailRaymond - that's really poor form. If you have an issue with a For Sale thread then PM the seller.

          If people think an item is listed at a fair price then they'll buy it. If not they'll make an offer or purchase elsewhere.

          maybe you should "expose" all those people selling split window Kombis & tell them that they are asking too much because they want 20x what they were new...

                Wish you posted earlier - I gave all the suspension away with the springs but I can message the guy who bought them and see if he's interested in selling them - he was only after the springs anyway.

                    The springs and suspension are both now sold and gone.
