  • WA Wrecking Vento 1996 silver

This vento needs a new block and I do not have the time or garage space at the minute so at this stage I will be taking her apart over the span of a few weeks and sending her to volksheaven. the car will be picked up and taken away by the 22nd april.

The vento has had the head skimmed and replaced but is still overheating so is believed to be the block that needs attention.
still starts and drives and is registered.

At this stage I won't be removing engines/brakes etc but am able to remove smaller parts/panels/lights etc before the car is removed. You are welcome to remove larger parts before the wreckers come if you live locally.

PM me if you need parts and a fair price for them and I will reply with their availability.

at the moment the bonnet grill and lights are spoken for.

Please note I work a fly in fly out roster so will not be able to send/remove parts while I am away. I am currently home for one week and will be back again from the 16th-22nd April.

    cheers
    Dan

agreed! someone needs to buy this and slam it!

would be good for a 1.8T conversion if it's the block that's in trouble!!

Trust me if the vento was worth fixing I would be keeping it on the road. the photos do not show the cars condition well with the majority of paint peeling, roof damage and an old fatigued interior. I would much rather see that a handful of golfs are kept on the road with its parts than saving a tatty car for no good reason.

Gearbox, head and running gear have been taken, as well as doors fenders and front bumper have gone to a new home. the salvagable interior parts have also been sold.

The parts I have left are the following, please PM if you see something you need:

Rear lights and number plate surround
                      dash clocks
                      all interior lights
                      rear passenger side window regulator
                      ignition coil
                      airbox
                      alternator
                      silver fuel flap
                      steering wheel
                      indicator and wiper stalks
                      silver hubcaps
