Hey guys,
Have moved onto the 42DD bell mouth intake, basically because I got offered one very cheap for a demo unit.
For sale is my one of a kind, carbon covered Modshack VTTA with a full custom carbon CAI front that bolts directly to the stock intake spot on the MKV platform in Audi/VW or Skoda. Modshack build these intakes out of phenolic material, pretty much the best insulation material we have. Unit needs a suitable support bracket, I just had a flat piece of alloy holding the unit at the first clamp after the K&N pod filter. Comes with a new 3" joiner, all you need is suitable 3" alloy pipe to fit to your MAF sensor. Will require a small amount of DIY to fit your particular car, but not hard.
K&N filter is approx. 50,000kms old, but in great condition, regularly serviced. Epoxy work not perfectly clear underneath, but is great everywhere you see when fitted, I did the best I could.
Please note this airbox is very free flowing, and the induction noise quite loud outside the car, not too bad inside. Was designed to provide maximum insulation and airflow. You really notice it in car parks, and it gives a great pretend blow off sound to the diesels when the VNT vanes close, but just as suitable to a petrol car.
You will hear your turbo spool a lot with this intake, and at idle at the traffic lights pedestrians sometimes take a second look.
Sell for $150 plus post if not local, have a quote for eastern seaboard for $30 to courier, will be a little more for WA etc. Happy to meet up around Brisbane etc by arrangement.
Please email me at Carformance as I'm just too busy these days to be on the forums much, but will check in when I can.
Last pic is different stickers, but shows unit in place.
