Lower engine mount insert. Reduce engine movement making shifting smoother etc.

PFF85-704 yellow. $30
Has been in car 3 months. Comes with everything except grease packet.
Is discoloured here from the grease and where the standard rubber parts were pressing on it. Good thing is that it is "worn in" (when new was really tight with a lot of NVH, improved over time).

do you mind me asking why you removed it mate. i have a different brand name on order but heard it can be a bit of trial and error until you find the one to the indivduals taste.

i'm keeping this one in mind if i don't like the spulen mount...

I ended up getting the same brand, but red one which they say is for diesels.

I think the vibrations from the engine is fractionally more than I would like with the yellow one. Of course as all the forums say, you can't tell what it will be ultimately like until you have it on for a while, as it settles in. Everything was quite stiff when I first put it in. Things like cranking the car would send vibrations throughout.

If I was younger I probably wouldn't have minded, as it does serve a performance oriented purpose. But I am more willing to compromise a bit so wussed out and got the red one.
