  • VIC Mk3 VR6 Coils, MSD and standard

VR6 coil pack ICM only, the actual coil is broken i just found out
    $100 for the ICM? Negotiable!

MSD coil pack setup i built some years ago but has been sitting in my tool box for the last 2 or so years. Bought 4 MSD coils (one spare) for $50 each, bracket was $70 from Four Seasons Tuning, a set of plug leads for this set up as the MSD coils have a different plug were about $150 i think, and i bought a complete vr6 coil pack brand new to pull apart to use the Ignition Control Module so that cost $220 too but ive only got the ICM left from that coil pack.
I wired it all up with a ballast resistor as per instructions on vwvortex, and even made up bolts of the right length to mount it. Never bothered to fit it for some reason, but I see no reason why it wouldn't all work! I guess it ended up costing me around $640, but I've got no use for it as I'm selling the car now
$450 for complete MSD setup for Mk3 VR6

So I just went to take pictures of these coils to add here and found the standard coil actually has an electrode bit snapped off! UUGGGHH
Sorry Dylan that coil is broken somehow.
I guess I have an MSD set up and a spare Ignition Control Module then.
$450 for the MSD set up and $100 for the ICM?
