  • VIC Mk1 Parts! Wheels, Carbie and gearbox

Ok I have a few things to get rid of since I'm moving overseas soon!
Firstly a Weber 28/36 DCD carbie with manifold to fit golf head, Ramflow air filter i picked up late last year. Its freshly rebuilt by Daniel at Weber Performance.

Its not been tuned for a Mk1 but it fits just fine would just need to work out what jets suit it best, i didnt have time to do this while i had it fitted. From what I can tell its still got the same jets that it came with when it came out on a Mk1 Cortina. Includes manual choke cable and bracket, and two or three primary fuel jets at sizes between 140, 135, 130, 120 i think.
    $400

5 Speed gearbox for Mk1 Golf! I bought a wrecked diesel Golf back in September last year, worked out when i got home that the 5 speed gearbox the guy had put in it had actually had part of it snapped off in the crash. As you can see in the following pictures, its just the mount part and I cant see why any internal parts would be damaged at all. Also as you can see I have a replacement section of the gearbox to replace the broken bit I just dont have time to fit it! Would just need to remove 5th gear, replace the damaged bit, refit 5th gear and green seal thing and it should be good to go!
I have a gasket for that section and reverse sensor i think it is.

    Looking for $250 obo
    SOLD

Lastly I have 4 Rota Shakotans at 15x7 Et20 with Kumho Ecsta SPT 195/45R15 78V's. I bought these wheel's with tyres on them about a year ago, fitted them once but never got around to lifting my car to fit them so they have sat in the shed since. Nothing wrong with them at all, the guy i bought them off decided to go a different direction with the wheels he wanted so I picked them up. I think he may have driven them around the block on his car but other than that, as far as i know, they have traveled only a few hundred meters on those tyres. Rims are all identical and damage free!
Will include hubcentric rings to make them fit a Mk1 Golf!

This is what they looked like on my car for the 10 minutes I had them on when i received them!

Paid about $1000 for them if I remember right,
    Asking $900
SOLD pending pick up and payment

Perfer local pick up as I have moved overseas. Might be able to organise shipping for carbie with my brother, but itll be around his schedule

Take a look at this page for the location of the code and what it means 020 GEAR RATIOS

Code is located in the Yellow box below.

                  Interesting, thanks for checking.

                  That's probably out of a MK2.

Very tall final drive in that box, geared for economy rather than acceleration.

                  Ratios are
                  3.45, 1.94, 1.29, 0.91, 0.75 FDR 3.67
                  90mm flanges

No use to me at the moment I'm afraid.

                  Would work well with a MK3 1800 or 2000 in a MK1

                  Good luck with the sale!

Yeah that actually sounds about right! The guy i bought the wrecked diesel off said he wanted the 5 speed for economy since the 1.5l NA diesel was never going to be fast.

                    Somebody buy my things plz!
