QLD Mk5 Golf DSG box

When I bought my car I was aware of the DSG issues they had. I hunted around for a few weeks after buying the car and picked myself up a spare DSG gearbox from a low KM Golf locally - which co-incidentally was also the exact same colour, interior, motor, dsg and all.

As I'm now selling the car I never ended up using the box. The same thing occured with my old NSX and I still have the NSX auto box downstairs also, which I'm also selling (yes I have 2 auto boxes downstairs for no reason whatsoever other than paranoia).

I paid $2,500 for the Golf DSG box and picked it up from Hope Island with 51 or 53KM on the parts car.

Just looking to sell it to someone who might need one, or want a spare as the Mk5's aren't under the VWAUS DSG recall. Would like to get my money back, or near enough / open to offers.

Can supply pics if required.
Pick up from Brisbane or will courier interstate via SmartSend if required.

Owned yes. I sold it to a guy from Fern Tree Gully, Vic about 6 months ago.
He didn't even drive it after I drove him around the block. I quote "I don't need to test drive it, I've got 18hrs to get acquainted with it", handed me a cheque from his back pocket and drove off...

I see you're from Vic, so you might see it around. I sold it as it was to an older guy. CCW's, suspension, NSX-R wing, lip / body kit and all.

Wow. I was quite interested in your NSX too.
I am yet to see it around but now that I know it's in ferntree gully I will be on the look out

And yes I know, I know your car very well in terms of what wheels and other exterior mods haha
Huge fan of NSX's.

When I am off P's I will either buy your (former) one of that guy, or this other orange one with a 2002+ conversion. Even if they aren't for sale. I'm sure they'd have a price.

Its a 2000 model, so updated motor 3.2L etc and manual. Only issue it has 180KM. If you're keen sus it out.

Haha yeah my friend Ross owns that one. I have been trying to tell him to keep it because it's so clean! Either way, if I wasn't on P's I would be all over that. I will do a 02+ front end conversion when I do.

any other NSX bits you have lying around? Don't really need the autobox as even if I bought one (two years time) I'd do a conversion. But anything else I might be interested
