Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Genuine VW MDI interface

    Hi, I have a new VW MDI interface forsale, I purchased it new but decided not to install it. It comes with the loom and both the iPod and USB leads.

    Located in Craigieburn VIC but can post at buyers expense.

    If this is a clean fit in a mk5 with a 2012 rcd-510.
    without damaging anything.

    Then consider this sold.

      Hmm, just had a google search. Seems it can't fit unless I change my centre console. Not a fan of that, sorry.

        In the interests of the seller - the "guts" of the MDI can be removed and installed in or above the glove box, or wherever you like really...
