Opened, tried in 2012 Polo for a week, no problems, no errors, did not like the slight dim light when off (normal for LEDs apparently and does not drain battery). confirmed to work in polo with no issues, no errors via vagcom either.
almost new condition, original packaging, used for a week.
btw, enough to replace 3 dome bulbs, 2 vanity mirror bulbs. 2 back dome lights, dont use extra bulb for boot as the fixture does not support LEDs.
