Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey guys,

Up for sale is a set of Schrick 268/264 cams for MKV R32. Been sitting in my room waiting to go in, but I've stopped my pursuit for more power...

These cams were purchased for $1400 delivered from Germany by Rondy (previous owner)
If sourced in Australia, the cheapest price to be found was $1500 - $1900.

Cams were purchased together with another VW R32 owner.

If these don't sell within a few weeks. I will be posting these on other forums.

Suitable for mk4 R32 and TT 3.2L as well I'm sure but you must check and confirm beforehand. Anyone here know?

According to this article I found on the net it seems you can put this in a VR6 2.8 (Bora?).

GIAC has the program to run these nicely I read

    $900 (Sydney)

Still available if interested. Biggest gain you'll find short of going FI. Maybe $600 for labour costs?

Thanks Robbie. I will have a chat to my mechanic about my apr tune compatibility and get back to you.

          Hi Robbie

Sorry mate, no longer interested as the APR tune doesn't support cam upgrades and I don't want to spring for another tune.

Best of luck in your sale.!
