cheers mate, yeah unfortunately I think that's from the later model ones, where you swap out the entire VW logo, where as my early model one, you just pop off/on the chrome part only, the rest of the '3D' part of the logo is all one piece with the grill. I've just plasti-dipped mine for now..

Will looking at it, it can look like yours i just unclip back parts and vw badge broke but could have just taken chrome bit off by looks of it

Have you still got the plastic engine cover? Specifically chasing the VW badge on the right hand side. I'm assuming it clips out as my original has fallen out at some point
