Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC FS: MkV GTI DSG Shifter

    As I have upgraded to an Edition 35 DSG Shifter I'm selling my MkV GTI DSG shifter. It will come as a full unit with everything you need to install it.

    The shifter surround also has a 3M Carbon Fiber Di-Noc overlay as there was a small (about 3mm x 3mm) scuff on the shifter that showed the white plastic. It has no bubbles and is well secured. Small marks on the top of the shifter from wear and tear over time.









    Asking $70 and I can post it at the buyer's expense if need be.

    Did you buy the overlay pre-cut, or make it yourself ? I have a few chips off mine I want to disguise.

      Pre-cut from Bold-Sport, it surrounds it perfectly.

          The gear knob and bag can separate from the shifter housing itself. Here's a picture of my fully wrapped ED35 Shifter housing without the Knob.



          I believe you can also remove the Knob and such from the shifter booting (leather with yellow stitching for you), but I didn't have to do that.
