Depending how handy you are, I would say do it yourself, its not very complicated and honestly doesn't take that long to do.

Quick question: does the DNS series support the factory fitted VW/Skoda amplifiers? Aftermarket head units are unable to use them as they require a CAN signal to tell it when to turn on.

I'm back in action guys, sorry about the wait. I haven't been fully idle either, had to check in on the status of return shipment on my honeymoon at the reasonable rate of $1 per minute of internet.

Long story short I had to pay another $750 to get the shipment out of China customs and redirected to a maildrop address I rented in Hong Kong. However the maildrop company is unable to send the shipment cross border because of similar issues with customs. Chinese regulations are very strict about defective electronic goods coming into China.

The good news is that the HK address is only some 50km away from Audiosources. So, $1500 later, one way or another we should be able to get the shipment across the border, even if it means someone physically drives over and picks up the shipment rather than using a courier company. I will let you guys know, I should be able to sort it out this week.

I'll start the process of going through my emails and PMs but it'll have be slowly over this week. I should have caught up on my correspondence as well by the end of the week.

Yes, all factory sounds systems are supported including Dynaudio etc.

I will get to the replies, sorry about the lack of updates. I spent nearly all my recent free time after work liaising back and forth with China, both with AS and my rented HK maildrop address. As a result I had almost no time to answer messages or emails.

I'll start catching up this week. The shipping issue is resolved and the return units are on their way to the AS factory.

I'll send out another group PM shortly (including to new interested buyers after I catch up on my messages) and give everyone until the end of next week to respond. I'm aiming to have the group buy order finalised by then so we can get the ball rolling.

I'm also interested, but are these the newer DNS-810+ units or the older DNS-810 units? (I have not had the time to read through all 180 pages of posts.)
It also seems that this order has gone through already but the initial post mentions "closing soon", so I'm a little confused. Had this group buy ended?
The original post also says that the mfd is optional, but comments seem to suggest it is now working... So I'm not sure what features are working and what isn't - is there a more up to date feature list? Does the Audiosources website list working features, or do they include features that they are still working on?
