I think each unit will only work to one car, its locked onto the cars ecu
Your right, i going to pull the sale for now as I'm in the market for an Octavia VRS wagon and I'm now thinking I may use these parts when I find a car.
Afraid that is so, once the V-switch is used to write, it is locked to that particular ECU. You can return it to Alientech in Italy for a reset, but then the post cost vs a new switch becomes close sadly. Lucas is going through this hassle currently, perhaps he will see the thread and comment.
