Dear All,
I have decided to revert the car back to stock form. I don't drive her much and taking a step back.
In any case, first thing is first and they are my beloved Recaro Seats from an EVO 5. In my opinion, they have better support, are lighter and have less rattles than the Konig OEM seats for the Mk4 R32.
The hardware to mount the seats was fabricated from the US - was quite a process and it costed $500+
The seats were bought from a Japanese car dealer and were $1000.
The seats are structurally perfect. However age and time has faded the sides a little from grey to a light tinge of purple. Its only noticeable in sunlight. Elsewhere there is some fraying at the usual spots, but nothing major. The bolsters are in perfect shape also.
They are in good condition IMO now but if you were a perfectionist, a re-trim would be in order.
What else can I say? Leather is overrated. I can sit in these in the winter and not squeak like a girl, can sit and not sweat at temperatures over 23C, lighter than OEM, more support for thighs, upper and waist. Just magic.

Sorry I will get better photos when I can, I had a few good ones but must have deleted them.

The rubbing from ingress and egress.

Seats are in Bossley Park.
I'm asking $1000.
