NSW FS: Bluetooth kit for RCD300/500

Hey Folks,

Picked this up for mum's eos, turned out its not compatible with an RCD 510 so hoping its of some use to someone with an 06 eos with an rcd500.

Otherwise might be of use to people with a golf (mk5) jetta passat..

The model of this is a VGA098904 and made by techaudio.

The model for the golf jetta and passat are all very simmilar so i wonder what diff there is?

What does it come with?
Is it just the BT unit or is there a loom as well?

Any idea how I can confirm it would work in my MkV golf?

The part number was marginally diff between the golf and eos model as i described.

I have no idea how we could test it out, short of installing it?

The Kit comes with installation guide, Manual, the piggyback CAN-BUS Loom which you then plug your RCD:300/500 back into, and a microphone, as well as the unit.

I cant imagine how the the golf's RCD500 would differ from an eos' or a jettas. May have somethin to do with how it interfaces with Can-bus.?
