Hrm, on the GTI's the bar is formed around it and has been cutout with appropriate "tabs" to have it sit in the bar.

Pretty cheap IMO, if you're keen to be a world leader

If your coming to VITS, see if you can bring it up with you. For $20 can't go wrong even if it won't work, but don't want to pay postage for that same reason.
