VIC Mk4 312mm bolt on caliper carriers

Hi all,

Some time back I was planning on updating my mk4 golf to have 312mm front brakes so I bought all the relevant parts to do the conversion, however everything has since been moved on except for the caliper carriers as I was going to go bigger in the front rotors on my polo.

Alas the caliper is different (now uses the golf GTI caliper) and I have no need for the carriers.

Looking for $100 for them.

This will allow any mk4 golf GTI, Audi TT or mk4 bora owner or anyone wanting to do a 312mm conversion (along with the correct calipers) on any mk4 golf, 9n or 6r polo (eith the correct compliancing) to run the bigger, 312mm brakes off the mk4 platform Audi S3 or Bora 4motion.

9N GTI needs to use MK4/4mo/s3/tt calipers, the brakes on the Polo are different to other 288 set ups.

These are carriers from a TT Mk1 / S3 setup? If not, what carriers are they?

Yeah, with MK4 calipers.

So, they're aftermarket carriers to allow the standard mk4 brakes to be spaced out further to allow bigger rotors?

Mk4 gti calipers and polo 9n gti calipers are different. To be able to use the carriers from a mk4 on a 9n you will need the calipers as well

They are the same as Audi TT 1st gen.

This is really really cheap for anyone after carriers, they are hard to find separated from the calipers at the wreckers. Most wreckers wont separate the parts.

Yes, off the mk1 TT/S3. I bought them off Manaz along with the calipers about 3 years ago.

No. As per my first post, the 6r GTI uses the same caliper as the mk5&6 golf GTI.
