Hey guys,
After writing off my vr6 a couple years ago I bought back the wreck and pulled the engine and such, intending to swap it into the 3 door mk3 I bought to replace it. In the end I sold the 3 door before doing the swap, and can't see myself owning another mk3 any time soon, so may as well sell this stuff.
The car these are from had under 100000 genuine km's with full service history. The damage to the car was in the rear end, so nothing has been harmed in the engine bay.
The engine is currently almost completely disassembled, as I planned to build it up to make some serious power out of it before swapping. I would love to sell all of it at once, but can't guarantee that there won't be bolts and such missing, although I should have most. I'm guessing it's likely that I'll have more luck parting out the engine.
Engine is OBD1.
Parts I have left:
- block related parts (pistons, crank, etc) (block itself is sold though)
- Stock Intake manifold
- Cold air intake
- Stock air box (although bottom half has been "Swiss cheesed")
- Wiring loom
- Manual Gearbox and all shifter related stuff
- ECU
- AC compressor
- Power steering pump
- Engine mounting brackets
- 2/3 of a set of BFI Stage 1 engine mounts (transmission and front mount, have lost the rear mount) with very low km
- Low km thermostat housing/thermostat with brand new sensors (swapped this in a day or two before crashing the thing)
- Radiator, fans etc etc
Also have some other mk3 bits and pieces:
- CL taillights
- Mirror blanks
- Duckbill lip
- straight front left and right doors (windsor blue)
- stock rear spoiler
- heaps of random things, will make a more full list later
Already sold:
-Head and all head related components (valves, rocker cover, springs, cams, etc)
Basically anything engine/transmission related I have, so message me if you're after anything. Will work out a good price if you want to buy multiple things.
-Bare Block
-Ported "2.9 clone" intake manifold
-Ported Throttle body with shaved coolant lines
-Ported non shaved throttle body
- Mk5 R32 Oil pump and alloy pan
- Back welded and ported exhaust manifolds and downpipe
- fan control module
- aux water pump
- leads
Note all the parts are located at my folks property in Toowoomba as I dont have much storage space here, and it may be a couple weeks before I can get up there to get the parts. Happy to ship things interstate at buyers expense, and pick up in Brisbane/Toowoomba is welcome.
