Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW MK5 Seat Rails

For sale is one set of passenger side mk5 seat rails. The rails have come off a set of front seats that I purchased from a written off 2006 Polo Gti and they are surplus to my needs.

By the looks of things these just bolt to the floor with 4 bolts and they bolted to the bottom of the seat with 2 bolts in each corner. Rather then putting them in with the scrap metal bin I thought that someone on here might need them for a project or whatever it may be. They functioned perfectly on the seat they came off and you can have the adjusting mechanism too if needed.

    Price: $20?
Will post at buyers expense, pick up welcome.
