Hi gents,
Pending payment tomorrow and collection on Tuesday, I have finally got hold of another VR6 to replace my written off one.
I have a father who is biting at my heels to get the wreck out of the garage ASAP.

The car and all associated parts are in extremely good condition (those not damaged in collision).
Rear hatch is gone but I have removed all the parts from it so they are all available.
Preference would be to sell it off whole to someone and they can use it for a conversion project, part it out themselves or repair it. It is an economic repairable write off, $1100 ONO (Make an offer, worst I can do is say no) with no seats - will have badgeless grill, aftermarket headlights and 18 inch rims with 80% tires. The right tail light is also in great condition. I had to araldite some of the internal plastic to prevent cracks but it has survived the collision
If you are interested in doing a conversion project of a 2 door or mk2 etc and dont want any of the panels/ trim/ regulators/ mk3 bits and pieces, PM and we can sort out a deal on the running gear and engine/ gearbox alone. I don't have the time to be separating these parts so if you only need this for a conversion you will have to come and tow the shell away. Would be looking for offers around $600 (again, make an offer, I am willing to negotiate as I need the stuff gone).
Note that this car has a full service history in an original VW service book and the last 10 years in receipts for repairs and would be perfect for someone who wants to drop a VR6 into a 2 door or a mk2. It was bought from an older guy who was the second owner and it has never been flogged. It has been garaged all its life. However, issues are the chains and ABS (I will be taking the unit for my car assuming that is the issue). Chains could be done when the motor is out of the car. Has hit 188000 on the odometer and has both original keys.
Will take pictures on Tuesday after I take delivery of my new car and update prices accordingly. (the thread above has good photos)
I must stress, I don't have the time/ father with patience/ skills/ tools to remove motors/ gearboxes or running gear so I must sell the whole car or the shell and have someone tow it away. Thus I am pretty keen to move it on so first in best dressed and will listen to all offers.
