Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD MKIV Euro Sport CAI

    I have my Euro Sport CAI for sale. Goes from air box down to the front bar. Black stainless steel with a wrinkle finish. Great cond.

    I have had this on my car since I bought it but with all this rain in QLD lately I hit a BIG puddle at night that I couldn't see and ended sucking water up my CAI. I have driven in rain in this numerous times without an issue, I would just avoid large puddles. My engine is fine but I have since removed it and put a new CAI system in.

    Perfect to suck up the cold air coming in from the front.

      Is it the type that joins from the MAF?

        Sorry, no pod filter. I can throw in a Blitz pod if ya want it.

        It does join straight onto the MAF. I will take a pic tonight.
