Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Piggy Back ECU (RaceChip) for MK6 Golf GTi

    Hello all,

I got a brand new RaceChip ECU for sale. Some of you from Brisbane might probably know I started selling RaceChip Products around 2mths ago. Basically it is a piggy back ECU that only run two plugs into the engine (Boost senor / Inlet Senor (Map or Air Flow)), it is a plug and play unit. And the one I mainly selling is the Ultimate Version (RaceChip® Ultimate Chiptuning)
I am selling it for $660 + Postage (interstate) or $680 fitted (Local)
Here is a link it show what kind of power you be excepting after you use RaceChip, and whenever you need to go in for service. All you need to do is remove the RaceChip before you send your car in and the dealership will not know there was a piggy back ecu.

Anyone who is interested, feel free to pm me your number and I will get back to you within 24hrs

      Hi Stephen,

I'm interested in the Chip for the MK6 GTI. i'm in Alex Hills 4161 and was wondering if you are not too far from me, would i be able to try before i buy? i have some knowledge of the piggy back systems as my brother in law builds his own units for turbo diesels in the UK. Kingquick Technologies Diesel Tuning units give you more performance.

I see they work pretty much the same, so keen to know more of it's capability's my email is john.camplin@hotmail.com

      Thanks

      John

        Hi John

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I can not offer anyone "try before buy" if it is a used item I will but on a brand new item I am sorry about it.
All the detail you needed are on those website in the first post. Feel free to ask me any other questions relate to it
        Stephen
