Just for reference in pricing secondhand units - 'The new file is $375 if the unit is over a year old, or $150 if under that' this is quoted from a superchips dealer - so if you pay 500 for a secong hand one it will cost 650 which is basically what they cost new.... not picking, just saying

I was under the impression if you pay to have your unit reset like the seller claims it means the new owner that gets the unit can get a new file free of charge - ( essentially it means the seller has paid the $150 already ) this would mean that the new owner would only have to pay $500 - which is a bit of a saving over new.
      Correct me if I'm wrong

That would make sense poyta - 150 or 375 to 'reset' it depending on its age - thanks for clearing that up - I obviously had it a bit wrong

The reset did not cost anything . As it was under a year Old ,so the new will get a free file .i have emails from superchips to confirm this . Cheers
