  • QLD APR 3'' Dump pipe and standard gti catback

APR 3'' dump pipe and will throw in standard gti catback for free!

asking $600 for the lot - APR dump pipe retails for $1375

In used but good condition, includes all brackets, clamps, gasket. i would recommend replacing the gasket as this one is cracked, Cheap from VW

    Suits MKV GTI

Sounds great! No drone, gives a distinct tuned performance APR sound when on boost.

Located in Toowoomba, 1.5hours from brisbane.

Any questions please feel free to pm.

Have had 4 people ask if I'm willing to seperate just the APR dump pipe, I'm happy to split it but this won't make it any cheaper as the stock gti catback is thrown in for free!

If split just means I have to make a dump run haha.

        Cheers

I believe you're meant to have the ECU updated for these dump pipes...

Not sure, I would recommend getting an apr tune on any gti regardless of having an exhaust! This adds the much needed European sound when you get on boost down the street! Sounds great, but close to factory on idle, no drone etc

You will need a tune after putting the dump pipe on.. it will throw a cel otherwise...

Dump pipe is the next best mod to go to stage 2 with APR...

Anyone chasing any info about this exhaust should look here, and confirm with Apr as to whether you can fit it without a tune ie- to a factory gti
APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles.
On their website it mentions nothing about needing a tune.

Should also note, apr offers a lifetime warranty with the purchase of the exhaust brand new, that's how confident they are in the work they do!

This wouldn't fit mk6 gti would it? (Just the dump pipe)

If you call them they will tell you that the software upgrade is required and it's included in the price
That's certainly the case if you are running APR Stage 1 ECU (not sure about stock)
(If you buy the pipe privately you would have to pay for the software update)
My car is booked in to have the downpipe installed and ECU update done in a week - can't wait
