  • VIC CHEAP - Complete VR6 For Sale (can be registered, or tracked, or as parts car)

    Hey all

    Complete 1994 VR6 in that funny bluey purpley colour. Deets

    * 233xxx on the engine. Drives well, sounds good, little to no leaks that i could see.
    * gearbox recently rebuilt (5 speed manual)
    * nothing to obvious when I drove it from Hawthorn to Rowville. I survived and there was nothing immediately concerning. It actually drove better than my VR car!
    * cloth interior
    * no headunit
    * eibach lowered springs all round
    * sachs rear struts, monroe front struts. this thing is LOW!
    * body is rough (for my standards) and id grade it a 6 out of 10.
    * i bought it off a friend who bought it from a guy that had wanted to register it but never got the time.

    * it is on the written off vehicles register (for a minor hit on the passenger guard), but DOES NOT require VIVs to be registered as it is over 15 years old.

    * roof needs attention, as does the bonnet (unless you kinda like that look) usual paint fade.
    * stock exhaust that needs the rear muffler welded on (theres no more suitcase) so its pretty loud. nice, but loud.

    For RWC in Vic id imagine you would need, tyres, it to be raised and the tint possibly stripped. It could get by with the rough body.

    I'm only asking $1500 for it.

    Post up any questions here, or SMS 0431 730 290

    Car is in Melbourne and I'll post up pics tonight when the sun goes away from the front half.

    Perfect for a cheap daily, track car, donor car, or parts car.

    PS: all window regs work, aircon needs gassing, and it starts up first time everytime (even when warm!)

          I believe that was the same Golf as my dad's back in the day. Absolutely love that hatchback and still love it today. It's classic, I wish i have a backyard to store one of these car for project or habit work.
