Hey guys,
Selling a set of KW V1 basic coilovers for a 9N3 Polo GTI.
They were bought mid last year from DPM Performance, and were on the car for approximately 12 months. As such, they've travelled ~15,000km in that time, and have been sitting in a box under my house for the last few months.
The rear struts are perfect. The fronts have sustained some minor damage to one drop link mounting tab on each side, and one has some damper issues as outlined below.
As a result, I'm looking for just $300 for the full set. Obviously pick up in Brisbane would be ideal, but I can organise a courier interstate at your cost if you so wish.
I will clean them today and upload some photos later this evening.

The caveat regarding the price is this:
During the time they were installed, I mounted shorter sway bar drop links which I'd bought as advertised for a 9N3 Polo. Turned out they were way too short and on full lock they bent the swaybar mounting tabs on one side of each front strut. Though it's not pretty, this proves to be no problem as the KW strut has a mounting tab on either side of the strut body so as to be symmetrical, so simply swapping the struts left/right meant that the undamaged drop link mount tabs can still be used.
In addition to this, the (now) Left-hand-side strut developed a knock which I believe is the result of a busted rebound damping circuit - the strut makes no noise under normal driving conditions and operates perfectly well in compression, however when you encounter small bumps while the LSF wheel is unweighted, you can hear it topping out. This is reinforced by the behaviour of the strut when compressed by hand without a spring installed - while the RHS strut piston returns in a smooth, controlled manner, the LHS strut piston rebounds quickly, with a "clunk" as it tops out.
I contacted Chris @ TPM about this and he offered his assistance in organising a replacement strut (at some charge, though I'm unsure how much). I ended up replacing them with a different brand of suspension in the end, but I'm sure if you contacted Chris through the forums he would be willing to extend the same assistance to you.
