NSW 16" 118tsi wheels... Is anyone interested?

Hi guys,

Just picked up an octavia wagon.... Already love it.... But it's getting a few mods next week (kw coilovers and 19" rotiforms)

Is there a market for the original wheels? 16" 6 spoke with good Bridgestone rubber? Would anyone want to buy them cheap? I just have nowhere to store them?!

I sold mine for $250 IIRC. Wheels were immaculate. Tyres were 3mm.

While Skoda owners seem aware that Audi & VW wheels will fit a VW, Audi/VW owners haven't a clue. Your market is limited.

BTW: the OEM 16" wheel/tyre combo only weighs 16.5kg. The 19" Rotiforms + tyres will be up around 23kg I'd think. Expect to take a big hit on acceleration & fuel consumption (I speak from experience)

I thought 300 but I'd take 250.

I'm not real fussed about wheel weights to be honest.... It's a wagon and I just want it to look good.

I've had over 70 modded cars, so I know what I'm doing. I'm more worried about style than the small increase in fuel consumption.

EDIT: Reason is I do so many K's, cheapest tyres for the vRS 18" rims is something like $140/corner. :/
