I am looking for $700 for these wheels including non-legal tyres (if you want them), rings, lugs and locking lugs. Happy to pack and send at the buyers expense (might be worth taking the tyres off if they are to be sent by courier).
Definitely cannot take part exchanges or trades on other wheels.
17x8 Oettinger RE wheels - PCD 5x100, 35mm offset, 68mm centre bore with Original Ronal 57.1mm hub-centric rings
(I believe the 68mm centre bore was so they could fit on VW vans but these wheels came as a very rare dealer fitted option on Boras in Australia)
These wheels were made for Oettinger by Ronal. They come with original Ronal 57.1mm hub-centric rings and a full set of Ronal ball seat lugs + 4 McGard locking lugs (you can't use standard VW lugs with these wheels)
Also included is the serial number sticker for the McGard locking nuts so you can order another "key" if you need it.
The wheels have been painted silver and look pretty slick but up close you can see some runs and I have chipped a bit of the paint off when I dropped the lugs. There is a tiny bit of gutter rash on one wheel, done by me about 6 weeks ago, looks to be mostly paint off, very little damage to the rim.
The tyres are 225-45-17 Continental SportContact 2. Two of them are worn down the the indicators, One is about 1mm from the indicators and one is about 2-3mm from the indicators but all are old and a bit hardened (previous owner stored them for a couple of years) and make quite a bit of road noise.
In my opinion Oettinger REs are the ultimate OEM 5x100 wheel, much nicer than R32 wheels. The extra 1/2 inch of width makes all the difference (yeah, yeah I know, that's what she said)
