NSW Multifunction Steering Wheel with Airbag

Selling original steering wheel off my MY11 Tiguan 147TSI, after upgrading to Mk6 GTI wheel with DSG paddles.

Currently sitting in a box and in mint condition.






This is essentially the current steering wheel, in terms of the actual multifunction buttons goes and is used in the lower spec Mk6 Golfs and current model Tigs.





I believe it should be plug & play for any other VAG models with the older Mk5 steering wheel, but with a white MFD.

Otherwise, you probably need a new steering wheel control module (SWCM) also to do this retrofit, if you have a red MFD.

Wiring harness (not pictured) will be included in the sale to ensure compatibility.

It's posible, but it will be the same as putting a Mk6 golf wheel into a Mk4 Bora as the Tiguan and Golf 6 parts are common.

As per Aussietig's post you will likely need a SWCM to get the buttons working - just depends on what your car already has on-board.

There's likely other people that have done Mk6 Golf steering wheel refits so suggest searching on the various forums to find out whether there are any other bits that are needed.

I sold my old Tiguan steering wheel to someone with a Mk 5 Golf so definitely possible to install into older vehicles, just you'll have to look at what other bits need upgrading to get all the functions you want working (volume buttons, MFD buttons, phone etc)
