Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW 9N3 Polo - Dayline/DRL Projector Headlights (Pair)

Bought from the UK (http://www.ultraauto.co.uk/Tabs/Prod...6/Default.aspx)in June 2011, with black bezel, used for less than a year and still in as-new condition (save for stickers peeling off) and some sticky tape marks where I taped on the HID ballast. Sold the car with OEM headlights put back in so the projectors are now available. Not to everyone's tastes, but looks great with xenon HID lights (disclaimer: use of aftermarket HID lights is not legal - do this at your own risk. Xenon HID bulbs and accessories are not included in this sale)

Made by Sonar in Taiwan and sold under different brands in different countries (Ultra Auto in the UK, Dectane in Germany), quality is good, does not suffer from water ingress like some cheap lights. Does not have a beam height adjustment servo thingy however so turning the knob on the dash won't do anything, can be adjusted manually however.

Front bar does need to come off for installation if you want to do it properly, very detailed instructions on bumper removal can be found here: http://www.forgemotorsport.com/media/FMINTPOLO.pdf

Bought for over AUD500 landed, yours for $250 ono. Sydney north shore area, PM me if you're interested. Here are some piccies
