    Hi fellow Golfers and Dubsters,

I have a pair of schrick 16v camshafts for sale that have been in storage for a number of years and are in mint as new condition, no scuffs no wear and no surface rust. These cams are significantly bigger than KR cams and have an extra mm of lift on top of the factory 1.8 cams, they would be classed as fast road cams and suit standard 16v 10:1 compression and hydraulic lifters, great pep up for a road 1.8 or 2 litre engine, dont make the mistake of going too big if its not a track engine or you are going to spend a lot of time in traffic! These are no longer made by schrick, the new version is the schrick 268 but very similiar specs.

    Details:
Schrick 266 inlet and exhaust cams suit 16v 1.8 2.0 ...PL KR 9A ABF etc
comes with new cam chain and gears installed.
Great price for VW friends $500 the pair including postage in Australia

pm me with any questions or requests
please dont use this post for a tech discussion on cams

    Cheers Andre

Just one Q? Are they actually used or new - I read it as used cams and sprockets but new chain? Can't quite tell.

Not that it makes any difference, just to clarify.

        Hi Mikinoz and others,
        just to clarify...
the cams have been run in a motor for a short time but are in as new condition but s/h, the sprockets were used with the cams and the cam chain is brand new. Its a super cheap deal as i dont want them sitting on my bench for the next ten years so somebody should shove them in and use them, best thing is they are usable with the factory valve train so just put them in.

That was going to be my question. So tempting. My car is getting a bit of a tune up at the moment and I'm yet to learn the final damage. Let me see how that goes and whether or not I can afford these!
