Would these work in a MK5 Golf GTI? Would it throw any warnings and work with the auto headlights?

Also H7 Means high and low beam correct?

      1. 1x: HD Dual-Relay or Can-Bus wire harnesses - Can-Bus harness removes errors.

      2. To confirm the fitment on your car refer to this site. FITTING FOR MY CAR
This will tell you if there are separate globes for highs and lows. Normally a H7 HID has a single beam because it has a single plug.

Very Interested. Just some quick n00b questions to clarify.

        1. Is this a kit to replace my existing halogen H7 bulbs?
        2. For the canbus relay, is it hard to install?
        3. Also, will the light levelling feature still work after the install?

        Thanks.

Mk5 Headlights (oem halogen) has H7 globes for low and also H7 for High beam
If you arre going to put H7 HID in you would only do the Low beam and leave the H7 Halogen in the high beam for Flash to pass etc

Now with the Mk5 Headlights - low beam requries a special bulb holder to hold the globe in place. Low beam housing does not use the spring wire holding method like most other headlights.

The recommendation is to keep your high-beams as is (factory setup). You are not using them as often as the low-beams.

so, for a mk4 you could use the h7 setup for the low beam, and leave the high beam as standard?
I drive a lot of country roads, and use the high beam a fair bit - so would i do both?

              sounds like a good deal

I know we can get splitter cables to run two globes, but I need to confirm that both globes will run on a single ballast. TBA.

What's the Kelvin rating on the bulbs?
                    Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
                    Present: Mk3 Golf variant.
