Hi all,
I was looking for a front lower stress bar for my Mk1 Golf and I have an engineering genius from my New Zealand club (I'm an ex-Kiwi, living in Melbourne) offer to make a full X brace. He has also said that he can make a run of standard K-bars too.
The X braces will look similar to this:
The K bars will be based on the Scirocco 16v braces, like this:
and installed:
Here's a post on why these are good for the Mk1 chassis, it also shows the various types available:

All bars will be powdercoated and finished to a high standard.
Pricing at the moment is NZ$150 for the K-bar and NZ$275 for the X brace.
Frieght will be entriely dependant on how many are interested. It could be free (if I bring them back with me on my next trip) or we could arrange shipping.
