NSW WRECKING '97 MK3 Golf CL

[Umai Naa!!]

Wrecking a mostly complete '97 MK3 Golf CL 5-speed, silver in colour.

Car has 298,000klms on it, but the motor seems pretty healthy. Previous owner suggested it may have been reco'd, but wasn't sure. All panels are straight as, with good paint. The interior is a bit grubby, but would clean up easily.

Quick list of things either spoken for, or already trashed:

- Headlights
- Grille
- Front bumper
- Headlining
- Gearbox

I can't price each individual item at this stage, but as a general guide;

- Motor $350, complete.
- Doors $100ea, complete.
- Tailgate $80, complete.
- Taillights $30ea.
- Rear bumper $50.
- Bonnet $70.
- Guards $70ea.
- Front carrier (rad support) $50.
- Radiator $50.
- A/C condensor $40

OR, save me the hassle of pulling them apart, and take the whole carrier with the radiator and condesor still attached for $100!

Naturally, everything is negotiable if you're buying in bulk. Fitting can be arranged. Freight/postage can be arranged.

What colour is it?

Has the subframe ever been dragged along the ground or is it not scratched, and if so, are you willing to pull it out and sell it without any of the gear attached to it?

I'll have have a look at the subframe. It'll probably be a week or so before I'll have the subframe out, as the engine and gearbox will have to come out first.

I only bought it for the gearbox, and a few other small things. It looks too far gone to get it back on the road again.

Given the interest in it already, you're not going to get much of a car.

No rush at all for the subframe mate, just thinkl it would be a good idea to have a spare, considering mines being scraped away to nothing slowly but surely. Pm me what sort of price you'd want for it posted to brisbane and we can go from there.

Updated the first post.

At the rate I'm going, the motor/gearbox will be out and split on Saturday, front subframe, rear beam, and anything else will be out on Sunday, then the shell will be collected and scrapped next week.

Not keeping anything out of the interior, besides the airbags, cluster, dash, and some of the electrics. So if anyone wants anything let me know before then, otherwise it's all going to the crusher.

The pair on the rear are near new. The ones on the front aren't that great. Still legal, though.
