  • VIC EOI: KW V1 Coilovers to suit Bora 4motion

I'm returning my car to stock and want to sell my KW V1 inox-line coilovers. Suits Bora V6 4motion (not non-4motion Boras) and can fit Mk4 R32s (also maybe Audi 8L S3 or Gen1 TT Quattro?) but wouldn't have the ideal spring rates, etc. They made my car handle well and were relatively smooth and comfortable for coilovers compared to budget coils (subjective).

KW coilover Variant 1 /// Sporty and harmonious with factory pre-set damping

    *Height adjustable
    *Inox-line stainless steel
    *Done about 10,000km

Bought them for $1700 so looking for offers above $1100.

They are currently on the car and I will be removing them once there is some interest, or if I have spare time.

Located in VIC but can post at your expense.

This is my Bora's height with the coilovers (sorry about the iPhone night shot):

I honestly don't know. All I know is they're tuned for the Bora's weight distribution.

How accurately it's tuned and how much the Bora differs to a hatch are factors which may or may not be noticeable.

You can rest assured that anything leaving Germany like this, will have been tested to the nth degree. They would physically fit the Bora, 225 TT, R32 and 8L S3. Many companies offering coilovers, sell the same kit to fit all 4 vehicles.

Apart from the weight of the 4 and 6 pot motors, I can't see there being much difference. You could check on wikipedia I am sure.

Having a baby means I have to save some money and make the ride as smooth as possible.. or I may end up selling the Bora. Someone slap me because I actually looked up minivans on CarSales yesterday.
