  • NSW EOI: Porsche Twists with mk4 mounting hardware

    Hi Guys,

    Thinking of selling my twists. Details are;

    Fronts; 18x8 ET44 (I think, will confirm), bald tyres. One rim has been resprayed and will need another respray. The colour is off.
    Rears; 18x10 ET65, Good 225/40's.
    Full set of genuine Porsche caps.

    Included is a bag of adapters, spacers and bolts to suit any Mk4 application;
    4 x 30mm adapters
    2 x 25mm adapters
    2 x 35mm adapters
    2 x 5mm spacers
    2 sets (maybe? I haven't counted them) of conical bolts.

    Application for a 4Motion Bora is 25mm front adapters and 35mm rear adapters with the 5mm spacers. You *might* be able to get away without the spacers, but there wasn't even enough room for a paddle pop stick between rim and strut when I tested without the spacers.

    Application for a FWD Golf/Bora *should* be as simple as using the 4 x 30's, but there are enough there to mix-n-match. Use the Wheel Offset Calculator to see what you would need.

    Let me know if you're interested. I'm only seeking what I paid which is $1200. I'm also in no rush and will just respray them and use them myself if nobody buys them, so no crazy offers pls.

    Thanks,

    Christian

    FWD will be the same up front as your 4mo.
    rear 18x10et30 should work no worries, might be able to sneak it back 5mm to a 10et35.

    Double check that front... sounds a little odd to me.
    GL with sale, these look soooo much better then the 17" sets that often come up
    Bora gone
    Vento VR6
    MKIV GSW TDI

          Check out E-go for shipping. Cost me $85 for 18x8 wheels from Grafton to Townsville.

            This... I had 19s with bigger tyres then that shipped for $120 to my door from the owners door in sydney.
            Can do it 50% cheaper if its depot to depot or 25% if its depot to door/door to depot

                Cheap, considering the amount of adapters included!
                Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
                Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

                      As said already. The rears may or may not need to have spacers in addition to the adapters, on my r32 it made contact with the shock.
                      Any questions and I will try and help too.
                      Cheers
