Ive also decided to sell the engine i was planning to use for the mk1.

Its a 1.9 Audi 80 bottom end, SD code, with the UK spec 1.8 EV 'big valve' mk2 GTI head that has a mild cam in it.

It needs a rebuild (one valve is burnt) and I have most of the k-jet bits here but they'll also need refurb.

There's a 2E 2.0l head here for the valves which are the same which I'll throw in, plus all brand new OEM ContiTech timing belt, INA tensioner, and Kolbenschmidt waterpump etc.

I'll take $230 for the lot.

Would be a great engine for any Mk1/Mk2 or even Mk3 project
