  • VIC FS: HPA SHS Coilovers for MK5 Golf, Jetta, GTI, R32, Audi A3 (Brand New)

    Hello Everyone,
Due to a lengthy battle with my father, I am no longer able to install these on my car
Very upset about this, but there seems to be no other options for me at this stage.

These Coilovers are BRAND NEW, they were shipped to me about 2 weeks ago, and are still in the original packaging, and the stuffing hasn't even been removed yet.
I do not really want to lose money on these, as I said they are brand new, so I am looking for someone interested in saving some shipping time, and possible some shipping costs.

Asking Price: $1150 ONO (Pickup preferred, can negotiate some kind of postage method if nobody nearby is interested) (also cost price is $1400 from Germany)

    Location: South East Suburbs

Reason For Sale: No longer allowed to install in car.

More info on the item here:
HPA Motorsports Inc. - SHS Coilovers

    Thank you everyone.

Sorry mate I guess I need to be the one to tell you, but people dont want to pay you nearly what you paid for them, have no warranty and no payment security just for the sake of $100 and a couple of weeks wait? Not trying to sabbotage your thread just telling it like it is. We know they are good.

                Hello I understand this,
however I do not see why these would not come with the same warranty anybody else would get buying from HPA?
These have been purchased within the last Month or so, straight from HPA in Germany.

Not really sure what you mean by payment security, however I am sure there are plenty of methods to safely transfer the money and offer security. Even if it means they have to be picked up and paid for on the spot.

I will include receipts, email transactions with Darryl from HPA, and any other information needed.

Now I don't really see why someone in the market for these, wouldn't want to save an easy $100 on a brand new set still with the foam packaging untouched in the box.

Thanks for the feedback, but If i was in a buyers position I would have jumped on these before buying them from HPA.

You might be better off asking for offers.
Ive bought springs from germany before, i can assure you aussies arent that interested in the brand - more the price.

I wish you all the best with the sale.

That's not quite true. Car enthusiasts are a minority to begin with and there are even less willing to spend thousands to upgrade. OP is just unlucky no one right now is after the HPA SHS, but if he was willing to lose money and sell at say $900 that thing will be snapped up faster than any FK coils can ever hope to sell for.

Personally I would rather not "upgrade" at all than to buy a cheap lesser brand.

I've always wanted a set of HPA SHS but I just don't have $1k to spend right now...
