Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Toyo R888 225/45/17 Semi slicks + Audi 17" 5x112 wheels

    4 x Toyo R888 semi slicks 225/45/17 GG compound (genuinely used twice at Eastern Creek) complete with 17x7.5 ET56 genuine 2007 Audi A3 Quattro Sportback wheels (open design, excellent for track use)

    Tyre cost new alone is $440+ per tyre ($1760+ per set)
    Wheels usually sell alone for $300 - $400 per set 2nd hand

    They have sat around for the past 15 mths unused so I am going to move them on as my time is now done with track work.

    My loss is your gain.

      Ready to go, haven't pushed this along much but time to move everything on from the car from my track days that I no longer need.

              Not really willing to separate wheels and tyres, price is really cheap enough anyhow and the buyer could always on-sell the wheels themselves if they wanted to....

              Wheels are scuffed up in parts from kerbs etc from when they were used as daily driven wheels prior to becoming track wheels.

              Will post photos here after the weekend.
