Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC 5x100 PORSCHE TWISTS FOR SALE

Hey there dubbers, I've got some "OEM+" wheels y'all might be interested in.

    SOLD!!!

These wheels have served me extremely wheel and garnered numerous compliments along the way, they truly are a crowd favourite, and now they can be yours!

    SPECS: 17x7.5, ET35, 5x100 (perfect for 9N Polo's, MKIV Golf's/Bora's, MK1 Audi TT, 8L Audi A3 etc.)

These obviously aren't OEM Porsche wheels due to the stud pattern, however this is where the benefit lies as the new owner won't have to be concerned about the illegality of adapters and such should they own a car with a 5x100 stud pattern.

PRICE DROP TO $800 AND I'LL COVER SHIPPING TO ANYWHERE ON THE EAST COAST

Here are some pics of such wheels on various VAG cars...

There are currently tyres on the wheels (Marangoni Zeta Linears) that i'll leave on for the sake of test-fitting, should people want to, however I wouldn't advise they be driven on for much longer as they've run their course more or less.

You can reach me via PM or on my mobile: 0419 571 274 should you want to discuss a test-fit/postage/price.

    Thanks,

To anyone looking for great looking wheels... GET THESE!! They suit the Polo no end!! I looked for two and a half years for these wheels in a similar Fitment, and I was lucky enough to get them... These are a real rarity in this Fitment, and other than my ones, I think these are the only other ones in Australia.

The stud pattern is the same, so they souls in that regard.

I don't have an exact weight but they're not a lightweight wheel. They're friggen bulletproof though I can assure you of that.
