I think it's either a) why are you selling so cheap when I (Darkshadow) paid a lot more for mine? or b) how come you are not modding your Skoda onpole01? Or c) all of the above or d) none of the above lol

bingo - "c" is the correct answer.

i'm still waiting for my "liftback" springs to arrive!!
i ordered them end of jan through the suspension mob company.

they better have some good news for me in the next 2-3 days!!!

I expect that these RS wagon springs fitted to my garden variety 1.8TSI hatch will give a result that most people won't be happy with but I will be.

I actually think it will make very little difference to ride height but have an incresed spring rate which will reduce pitch, nose dive, tail squat, & corner roll. That will suit me fine as I don't mind my car having the ground clearance of a monster truck.

i'll post my findings in a seperate thread but as a teaser, the current F/R measurement to the top of the guards with a 55L of fuel is 697mm/697mm.

Finally got around to fitting these yesterday.

As expected, the lighter weight of the 1.8tsi engine over the 2L diesel resulted in a drop in the front of 30mm intead of 50mm. (700mm down to 670mm)

The lighter weight of the sedan in the rear resulted in a drop of 10mm. (700mm down to 690mm). Both of these figures suit me fine.

The extra spring rate over stock has taken a lot of the slop out of the way the car moves on the road without making the ride harsh.

The wagon spring rate in the rear has eliminated the tendency to understeer & if you drive like a ***** & with excessive aggression, you'll get oversteer from the rear. Again, this suits me fine but it's very likely I'll remove the springs before passing the vehicle on to my daughter in 2 years time.
