Surplus Mk1 parts for sale. Send me a PM if your interested in anything. No sensible offer refused because otherwise they will be thrown in the bin. Can post at your cost but prefer pick up.

1: Hottuning coil-overs. They were on my Scirocco for around 500 km and then removed as I could not adjust the front down past the wheel/tyres that I have so the ride was way to stiff. $200 Now sold

2: Koni sport front pig tail springs. Again little use did not like the ride from them. $50 provisionally sold

3: Golf wing mirror in very good condition for right hand side. $25

4: Original 2 speed heater box with control levers and cover plate out of my 1975 Scirocco TS still works ok. No cables or plastic covers for the control levers. offers

5: Locking fuel cap with key. $10

6: 20.64mm master cylinder came off a Golf I scrapped. Was working ok but has been lying around for a year. $10 Now sold

7: Standard 239mm front solid discs in good condition. Light surface rust on one side other wise ok. $10

8: Original steering wheel from my Scirocco TS. A few rust spots on the chrome tri spokes and the bottom contact ring I had to solder parts of it together as it was beginning to split. $50 Now sold

9: A Weber 76HF that was on the golf I scrapped but I have been told that this was the wrong carb for a Golf as it would have come from and be suitable for a Passat of that era. Was working ok when I stripped it. $50 Now sold

I have no if the diesel was different. The Outside diameter of the "shaft" of the fuel cap that goes into the filler neck is 34mm and the two locking tabs are 10mm wide and 3mm length. Does that help?
              Cheers
