AFAIK it is compatible with all RCD310, RCD510 and RNS head units

Edit: According to the legend Mav it will not display tags with the RCD500 - I can advise whether it works with the RCD500 on Friday though.

I'll make some investigations with VW to see about fitting. will it require coding?

OK, I had a buyer but he seems to have disappeared.
Mikinoz just installed one on an RNS510, and I just installed on the RCD510. All functionality as expected: Album, artists, playlists etc.
Mine did not require any coding - if it does it is to enable the input on the RNS510 only.

Mine was a 5 minute install in the t5. Then about 60 minutes of tidying the 45 looms I have in the dash!
