Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I'm selling the car cause I'm looking for a change. I bought the car with the intention of keeping it for a few years, but find myself bored driving the DSG. Its great driving to work and home (<5kms), but thats where it ends.

And if I wanted to chase more power, I'd have to spend big coin (BBK, suspension, K04 etc) which I'm not willing to.

Re; height, I'm not sure how much lower you can go, but you could definately go alot lower in the front. I specifically asked my suspension guy to not have it too low cause I was driving the car daily. The rear would probably be set close the lowest, as the @$$ is sitting on its, well - @$$.
