im slightly interested but the only thing holding me back is that the best bit of this car is the bit that is knackered

Heater core is broken. A/c is freezing cold and abs is working.

It is a crap situation. But would suit someone wanting to build their own engine, as the most labor intensive part would be pulling the block apart to mill the hole.

Not to my knowledge. Mechanic hasn't mentioned anything of the sort

Vwimposter: I'm currently talking to eurospec sports trying to line up an engine. So Depending on that we'll see what happens with the car.
