Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

does the heater / ac and abs still work ?
im slightly interested but the only thing holding me back is that the best bit of this car is the bit that is knackered

Heater core is broken. A/c is freezing cold and abs is working.
It is a crap situation. But would suit someone wanting to build their own engine, as the most labor intensive part would be pulling the block apart to mill the hole.Comment

Vwimposter: I'm currently talking to eurospec sports trying to line up an engine. So Depending on that we'll see what happens with the car.
