Hi guys,
coming aroud to starting my R32 swap and i have completely forgot that i have a whole engine to get rid off, either has a whole or in parts.
Along with this i will sell parts that i dont need, like the ecu and etc. So feel freeto leave a message here or PM on what your interested in. Basically everything will be for sale except the gearbox.
For Guideline purposes: $1300 for everything
For Engine - ecu, wiring and clutch: $1000
Information:
Engine has 185,000KM on it. Always ran fine, no smoke, regularly serviced, pulled nicely and no hestitations.
The Head was rebuilt 40,000KM ago. (Been a while since i looked at the recepit but it had valves replaced and im pretty certain it had springs replaced too, was also machined.)
Timing chains and guides were replaced 30km ago so they are new aswell, also the hydraulic tensioner is new too.
The issue with the block is that the hole in which the intermediate shaft sits has elongated by approx .010 thou (as told by mechanic) this could be milled out and an Oversized bearing used instead making the engine run perfectly again.
Mechanic has told me that the pistons, rods and crank have little to no scorching but obviously if there is interest ill inspect this properly.
Intake and exhaust manifolds, intermediate shaft setup with 140,000km, ecu, engine loom and engine covers etc all for sale. I'll also consider upgrading my clutch which means the one i just bought from camden gti will be for sale. I literally drove 32.7km on this clutch before the intermediate shaft snapped. Obviously i wont get back the rrp of $370 but i'd still like to get some money back on it.
Unfortunately i dont have any pictures but do have recepits for the clutch and the rebuilt head work.
