  • VIC MK1-3 Ball Joint Extenders + tie rod flippers

Made by Unix Performance in Quebec, Canaduhhh. Planned on using these and making my car good but have lost all interest (ie they haven't been dirtied up under my POS)

The set cost me $235 shipped. To buy a set from Unix will cost you $245 shipped so I'm just asking what I payed for em!

$235 (inc. postage) and they're yours.

    PM me.

A little more info might help the sale

    15mm or 17mm? (I assume 17mm if they're to suit MK1-3?)

    How tall?

Oh right. The tie rod flip shims are 11/16", so 17mm.

30-40mm of lift from the extenders I would estimate, will measure tomorrow.

Critical dimension is the diameter of the ball joint extender post/socket.

Different cars have different diameter ball joints.

        Early MK1 Golfs are 15mm.

        1979 on MK1 are 17mm

        MK2 onwards are 19mm

Buyer would need to know what size ball joint these are to fit.

JUst trying to help things along

They'll cost you $245 in Canada and the lower 48.. More than that to ship them here.

                    Great deal.

Can you give me some idea of the benefit of having these. I might be interested if I knew what the gain was.

These help keep the lower control arm and tie rod in the factory position (and not pointing upwards) with extreme lowering,
and also helps maintain the factory geometry settings and handling.

Not quite stock positions/geometry, but as close to as possible with serious lowering and off the shelf products.

Again, PM me if you're interested Jaffa.
