Anyone know how easy it'd be to fit onto a Bora? The wifey wants me to upgrade the exhaust.

I get the feeling grtuned knows how to fit it into a Bora

I know at the very least it requires a different rear valance but beyond that I don't think it requires much work at all.

Damn that gtrtuned if he beats me to it!

Could probably just cut the rear bar a bit. But what happened here?? Why are the tips next to each other? VW R32 V6 MUFFLER INTO A BORA 4MOTION - YouTube

You cant cut the stock rear valance symetrically as the tow hook mount is in the way on the drivers side so you either need to get a new valance from a diesel and make new cutouts to suit or get an aftermarket valance that has the correct holes. You can also get the drivers side pipe rerouted to keep the stock twin pipe setup as seen in that video. That video is of a car that was owned by an old forum member also from Melbourne if I remember correctly.

An exhaust shop or good tig welding capabilities will be required to shoe horn the piping into the longer body of the Bora. I had already commited to buying an exhaust or I would have pauls in my car right now

No thanks I'm too busy at work to sift through endless threads. This way was more efficient for me as I received a timely and concise answer. Thanks anyways.
