Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters

    Hi all

    its time for some wider lips on the meshies and with the current offsets these adapters have to make way for some smaller ones. These adapters were originally purchased by rayray then sold to dubsteve and finally ended up with me . They have been painted black some time ago ( i guess for the stealth look ) and could do with a fresh lick as there is some paint peeling, I have run these on the VR6 for the last 5 months on the car including a trip to Canberra and they were perfect .

    Specs are
    Made by Adapt-it-usa
    5x100 to 5x114.3
    25mm x 2 and 33mm x 2
    Hub centric 57.1
    Lugnutsize where the wheel mounts is M12 x 1.5
    Also comes with all the hardware to mount the adapter onto your hub with a full set of flush mounting lugbolts which will enable you to also run flat backed wheels .
    Please note these adapters are hub centric but are not wheel centric so basically you will be able to run any 5x114.3 wheel

    hmmm im suprised none of the VR6 crew jumped on these for some stance and a wider choice of wheels

    open to reasonable offers guys

            Just in case some of you VR6 owners are wondering, this is the kind of fitment to expect running 7.5s on the front and 8s on the rear with 5x114.3 PCD and 45 offsets
